About Shirley
Originally from Hong Kong, Shirley spent years navigating the demands of a fast-paced, high-pressure lifestyle. Yoga became her anchor — a space to slow down, breathe deeply, and clear her busy mind. Over time, yoga transformed the way she moves, the way she manages stress, and the way she connects with herself.
Now based in Sydney, Shirley teaches a combination of Hatha and Vinyasa styles, with an emphasis on breath awareness and intentional flow. She believes that flowing with purpose helps build strength from the inside out — and reconnect us with who we truly are.
Her classes are designed to help students tune into their bodies and anchor their awareness in the present moment. Through mindful movement, breathwork, and stillness, Shirley creates a supportive space for releasing tension and cultivating clarity and resilience.
Shirley welcomes students of all levels — from curious beginners to seasoned practitioners — who bring an open mind and a willingness to learn. Her teaching encourages self-inquiry and growth, both on and off the mat, empowering students to carry the essence of their practice into everyday life.
